Leading design talents in three global cities, share an ethic of embedding community into their practice. New York-based lighting designer Lindsey Adelman is renowned for her extravagantly sculptural lighting designs and for the community-focused spirit of her studio. Since launching her Sydney-based studio, Yasmine Ghoniem has shared the stage with local emerging artists and artisans; and Melbourne-based interior designer David Flack is renowned for the community-focused nature of his practice, hosting exhibitions of the work of his peers, opening the Flack Studio library to the public, and providing mentorships for emerging designers.
