Don Cameron Translations

Presented by Gallery Sally Dan Cuthbert

Filmmaker, photographer and interior designer Don Cameron unveils his first complete furniture and lighting collection inspired by the Brutalist architecture of post-WWII Europe. Cameron spent the two decades from 2000 photographing concrete bunkers, churches, and houses of the Channel Islands, Switzerland and France, a selection of images becoming his breakout Communion series of 2020. This inaugural furniture collection extrapolates the striking formal language of Brutalist architecture to explore the inherently durable qualities of a robust materials palette focused on steel, walnut and leather.

Tuesday 20 September 5.30 pm – 6.30 pm
In Conversation’ between Stephen Todd and Don Cameron. Refreshments will be served.
